This week I said farewell to Sir Patrick Duffy 1920-2026.

At 105 years old he was the UK’s longest lived MP, and aged 103 he became the oldest known published author with part II of his memoir, ‘From Wigan to Westminster.’

Making is paused, and it’s the last glazing day/firing this week before my studio of 15 years (a garden shed with fireproof board, and rotting roof) is dismantled and a proper studio is built in its place. I can’t wait to have insulation
